Resource Access by Role
Different Members may need access to different parts of your World.
A volunteer needs different information than a team leader, while a VIP Member or program participant may need access to specific materials and activities.
You decide who sees particular materials, meetings, messages, or paid experiences based on what someone does, what they purchased, the program they joined, or their membership level.
In the Known Universe, these access settings are called World Roles.

A Passport is a direct link into your World that you can place in an email, text, social media post, registration confirmation, sales page, or private invitation.
Automatically give a new Member the appropriate World Role when they arrive, without Host intervention.
Include a short questionnaire when you want to ask questions and learn more about the person joining.
This creates a clearer beginning and helps you welcome Members into the parts of the World intended for them.

New Members Launch Well

Every World includes a Getting Started page where you can explain its purpose, introduce team members, outline next steps, and provide a helpful list of resources.
Each Member’s World Role automatically filters the resource list, so they see and can open the information appropriate to them.
This gives them a more confident beginning while reducing repeated onboarding instructions.

Your World can support free participation alongside paid resources, courses, cohorts, workshops, VIP experiences, and registration-based meetings.
With Premium Content, Members can see which paid resources are available.
Those who already have access can open them, while others see a message and a button leading to your sales page or another next step.
You can continue using the payment, registration, and sales systems you already trust while the Known Universe connects those opportunities to the experience inside your World.
